Musiek translates your musical impulses into full compositions. We collect audio recordings you submit, process them with AI, and never sell your data. Your creative ideas remain yours.

What We Collect

When you use Musiek, we collect the audio recordings you submit for translation. These recordings are processed to extract musical information (pitch, rhythm, duration) and are used solely to generate your musical arrangements.

• Audio recordings (humming, singing, tapping)
• Generated compositions and refinements
• Email address (for authentication)
• Payment information (processed securely by Stripe)

AI Processing & Data Protection

Musiek uses Anthropic's Claude AI to help translate your musical input and refine compositions through conversation.

How We Protect Your Data

• PII Stripping: Before sending text to Claude, we automatically remove personal identifiers like email addresses and phone numbers
• No AI Training: Your recordings and compositions are never used to train AI models
• Secure Processing: All data is transmitted over encrypted connections
• Limited Retention: Anthropic does not retain your data beyond processing the request

How We Use Your Data

• To translate your vocal input into musical arrangements
• To refine compositions through conversation
• To provide you with your creation history (if logged in)
• To process payments for Musiek+ subscriptions

What We Never Do

• Sell your personal data or recordings
• Use your compositions for our own purposes
• Share your creative content with other users
• Train AI models on your recordings or compositions

Third-Party Services

We use trusted services to provide Musiek:

• Clerk — Authentication (secure sign-in)
• Stripe — Payment processing
• Vercel — Hosting infrastructure
• Supabase — Database (composition storage)
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI processing for refinement conversations

Data Retention

• Audio recordings: Retained for 90 days, then automatically deleted
• Generated compositions: Retained while your account is active
• Payment records: Retained as required by law

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at privacy@immanence.inc.
